Before you fall down your precipice, I would like you to know that I fully accept and acknowledge that the protein content in soya chunks and flakes varies from company to company and brand to brand.

Just check out the gluten-free ones at ASDA or the ones from Nurture, which are both packed with protein and that is where you will find that difference. But I guess that the same can happen with soya chunks and flakes.


But if the protein content is so high that it is dangerous for your health, then you should just be buying as much protein as you want (I say at least 8g).


So I don’t understand why people want to be concerned with protein content in soya chunks and flakes, even though it is much higher than protein content in similar products. So I suppose it is down to personal preference.


So if the protein content in soya chunks and flakes is high, why is that a problem?


The reason why you would ever consider having low protein or high protein content soya chunks and flakes is for that added goodness. There is so much protein content in soya chunks and flakes that you can use more protein than you need (but you might feel like you’re drinking soup).


You can also consume soya chunks and flakes for the added protein content. So if you want to just add some protein to your diet, then that would be the better option. You don’t want to be adding more protein than you need and because soya chunks and flakes are low in protein content, then you don’t need that extra protein to be added to your diet.


I have eaten soya chunks and flakes in the past, but I just can’t see how anyone could eat soya chunks and flakes and not feel that it is a meal. It has protein content so high that it is as high as having a protein content in protein-rich meals such as chicken breast or soya chunks.


There is just such a huge protein content in soya chunks and flakes. So if you are wanting a protein boost from soya chunks and flakes, then having a higher protein content would be your best bet.


I also think that it is sometimes not easy to convince someone that eating soya chunks and flakes is a great idea.


Sometimes people will see other foods in which they see protein, such as chicken breast, and they don’t understand that the protein in soya chunks and flakes is so much higher than the protein content in chicken chunks.


I have seen soya chunks and flakes for sale where they state ‘protein content, so much more than chicken chunks’.


So I would encourage you to eat soya chunks and flakes if you are eating soya, just to understand that eating soya chunks is not a problem.


I don’t understand why so many people look at soya chunks and flakes and say that it is a problem with their health.

For example, soya chunks and flakes from ASDA are just as high as protein content in chicken chunks.


Is eating soya chunks and flakes as good as eating chicken chunks?


No.


The truth is that you can get much more protein from chicken chunks than you can from soya chunks and flakes.
